ELECTRICAL PANEL UPGRADES

Installing a new or upgrading an existing electrical service or panel is difficult. Let us take the lead by following local codes that apply to the service riser, meter, panel location, and grounding/ bonding

Why should you upgrade to Pushmatic breaker panels?

Pushmatic breakers use a thermal breaker design with no magnetic trip mechanism. Modern breakers incorporate both magnetic and thermal tripping mechanisms, increasing safety, and the likelihood that they will function properly in the event of an overload or short circuit.

  • Operating difficulty: The design of the breaker is such that, over time, they become very stiff and difficult to operate or reset.
  • State of breaker On-Off-Trip unclear: Pushmatic breakers have an indicator flag showing whether the circuit is on, off, or tripped. Many times, on old Pushmatic breakers, this on/off/trim flag will stay fixed in position, giving you a false indication of the condition of the circuit.

Let us help with:

  • Installing underground service
  • Installing overhead service
  • Installing a multi-gang meter bank (multi-family electrical service)
  • Upgrading electrical service
  • Upgrading electrical panel
  • Retrofitting an existing Pushmatic breaker system to a magnetic breaker system
  • Installing temporary service
